Grid Parity

It occurs when the cost of generating electricity from renewable sources like solar or wind becomes equal to or cheaper than electricity from conventional fossil fuels. This includes all associated costs - equipment, installation, maintenance, and fuel. Grid parity is not fixed - it can vary by region, technology, and over time.
